Position Title: Electrical Maintenance Technician (3rd Shift)Location: Franklin Park, IL Schedule: Full-time | 24/6 Facility | Overtime as NeededPay Rate: $35.00 to $40.00 per hourJob Summary:We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician (3rd Shift) to join our fast-paced manufacturing team. This role is critical to keeping our plant's electrical systems and equipment running safely and efficiently. You'll work independently and alongside others to maintain, troubleshoot, and improve equipment and controls across the facility.Key Responsibilities:Perform preventive and corrective electrical maintenance on motors, controls, and equipment.Troubleshoot and repair plant electrical systems, including mixers, conveyors, compressors, hydraulics, and PLCs.Maintain and improve process instrumentation, sensors, and automation systems.Support utilities such as chillers, air compressors, fire protection, and security systems.Read and interpret electrical drawings and wiring schematics.Complete work orders and accurately document tasks in CMMS.Install and calibrate electrical monitoring devices.Collaborate with mechanical maintenance technicians and support cross-training.Comply with all safety standards, PSM, and company procedures.Execute special projects and other duties as assigned.What You'll Need:High School Diploma or GED required; Technical training or military specialty preferred.Prior experience as an Electrical Technician in a manufacturing or industrial environment.Solid knowledge of PLCs, VFDs, HMIs, AC/DC troubleshooting, and industrial codes (e.g., NEMA).Ability to use diagnostic tools (megohmmeter, multimeter) and hand/power tools.Working knowledge of CMMS, SAP, and Microsoft Office.Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.Safety awareness and the ability to operate mobile equipment safely.Competencies for Success:Teamwork & CollaborationAdaptability & Change ManagementContinuous Improvement MindsetCustomer Service OrientationAccountability & Results FocusLearning AgilityWorking Conditions:Work is performed inside an insulation manufacturing facility.Exposure to noise, dust, mechanical parts, and chemicals.May require work in varying temperatures.Must be able to lift, bend, and use hand tools safely.Ready to join a team that values your expertise and commitment to safety?Apply now and be part of a company where continuous improvement and teamwork are at the core of what we do.
