The Housing Authority of Clackamas County (HACC) is seeking a highly organized and service-oriented Office Specialist 2 to support our mission of providing safe, affordable housing to our community. As the first point of contact for many clients and partners, youll play a critical role in creating a welcoming and efficient environment at our front desk and supporting the smooth day-to-day operations of our rental assistance programs. Whether youre greeting clients, processing important documentation, or juggling mail and supply orders, your work helps ensure that thousands of families and individuals receive the support they need to thrive. As our Office Specialist 2, youll support HACCs front office functions by greeting and assisting walk-in clients, answering the main phone line, and managing general email communications. Youll play a central role in the day-to-day administrative operations by processing incoming and outgoing mail, maintaining digital records through FileVision, and preparing orientation packets for our various housing programs. This position is also responsible for ordering and stocking office and computer supplies, submitting maintenance and IT requests, and ensuring our lobby area is clean, organized, and informative for visitors. Youll support staff across departments, keep calendars and phone lists up to date, and assist with special projects ranging from website form updates to inspection tracking. Your organizational and communication skills will be key to your success in this multi-faceted role. Required Minimum Qualifications/ Transferrable Skills: A minimum of two (2) years of experience performing administrative, clerical, or customer service-related tasks in an office environment Demonstrated knowledge of standard office practices and procedures Demonstrated proficiency with office equipment, email, spreadsheets, and document management systems Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and respond professionally to a wide variety of request
