The Payroll Administrator manages the weekly payroll process for employees working in the commercial construction industry using our outsourced payroll processor, Paycom. They are responsible for keeping abreast of company, industry, and regulatory changes that impact payroll and timekeeping compliance. RESPONSIBILITIES

Process payroll for over 300 employees on a weekly basis for multiple companies. Ensure employees are paid accurately and on time including weekly payments for garnishments, 401k, and taxes. Maintain schedule of PTO and sick pay. Responsible for weekly certified payroll to be labor compliant and submitted in a timely manner to owners/general contractors per contract specifications. Monitor and audit subcontractor certified payroll. Manage audit requests with Unions, 401k, Government Agencies (Franchise Tax Board), workers compensation, etc. Process terminations in payroll system and coordinate final pay wages with supervisor. Prepare and post payroll journal entries to accounting system. Support CML continuous improvement processes, research/provide ideas, and collaborate with Operations, Finance, Accounting, HR, and Payroll on improving processes. Keep abreast of changes that impact payroll and timekeeping compliance. Document processes and identify areas for improvement. Lift up to 10lbs. Perform basic office duties, including typing, copying, emailing, etc. Communicate regularly and effectively as appropriate. Maintain the standards, culture, and values of CML Security. Other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

High school diploma or GED required. 3 Years related experience, specifically with multi-state payroll, payroll taxes, taxable income, certified payroll required. Experience with unions required. LCP Tracker experience required. Strong skills in MS Office, Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. Working knowledge of SAGE 100 preferred. OSHA-10 certification. Employment may be contingent upon successful completion of a background check and drug screen. Pay Range: $25 - $30/ hr. Estimated Fill Date: December 2024 Accessibility:
