Description Eaglecrest Ski Area - Alaska's Best Kept Secret is Hiring! We are looking for the right person to fill our Eaglecrest Cook position
for the upcoming winter season. The CBJ Assembly has requested a standard salary review for Eaglecrest positions.
Final salaries will be confirmed following approval by the Eaglecrest Board and the CBJ Assembly.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR We are looking for enthusiastic guest service-oriented people who are willing to work in a commercial kitchen environment all day. You should enjoy being around other skiers and snowboarders creating a friendly upbeat atmosphere at the kitchen window, cafeteria area, and the kitchen cashier station. Ski or Snowboard Experience is a bonus. THE BENEFITS OF JOINING OUR TEAM
The Base Operations Team is a fun group that has and opportunity to experience many different parts of the mountain. Those that have ski and snowboard experience will to able to ski or snowboard during breaks throughout the day. You will receive discounts in the cafeteria, retail shop, rental shop, and on ski lessons. WORKING HOURS AND LOCATION
You will be working in the kitchen and cafeteria at Eaglecrest Ski Area base area at 3000 Fish Creek Road Wednesday through Sunday 8:00am to 4:00pm.
Weekends and Holidays are mandatory.
Overtime pay will be possible during holiday weeks.
Typical Responsibilities
Under general supervision of the Director of Base Operations and Food Service Supervisor, performs a variety of operation-related tasks in support of food and beverage service for Eaglecrest guests, events, and/or activities. Responsibilities include preparing and serving a variety of menu items with an attractive plate presentation and in a friendly manner. Must be capable of taking direction as well as exercising self-motivation in keeping the kitchen and dining areas clean, rotating food products daily, and working at a pace that allows for minimal guest waiting time.

Previous cooking experience is highly desired but not required.
