Program Manager: Transition from School to Employment and Community Participatio

LSU Health Sciences Center, Human Development Center seeks to hire a Program Manager for Transition from School to Employment and Community Participation projects. The incumbent will oversee current Transition from School to Employment and Community Participation projects, supervise staff who work on Transition from School to Employment and Community Participation. The successful candidate also will provide training on a variety of topics to employment support professionals and/or those wishing to become employment support professionals, educators, other community support professionals, and students. The incumbent will develop and implement a Quality Improvement Plan (i.e., formative evaluation) using participant data on achievement/performance, outcomes, satisfaction as well as community partner feedback.

Master’s Degree in Education/Special Education, Rehabilitation, Social Work, or related Human Service field, required. The successful candidate must obtain National Certification as an Employment Support Specialist (CESP) within 90-days of hire.
