CCI is seeking an experienced
Database Engineer
to support our customer, U.S. Southern Command (USSOUTHCOM), in Doral, Florida. This position is contingent upon award of the USSOUTHCOM Cyber Information Technology Enterprise Services (SCITES). Key Responsibilities Design, develop, maintain, and optimize SQL Server databases to meet the evolving needs of our applications and systems. Support development teams with database-related tasks such as creating complex procedures or tables to view or manipulate data. Perform database administration tasks including installation, configuration, backup/recovery, and performance tuning. Collaborate to gather requirements and translate them into database solutions. Create and update database documentation and support security measures. Experience in SQL, Microsoft SQL Server, SQL programming, and scripting. Proficiency with SQL Server, T-SQL, and SSMS. Familiarity with SSRS, SSIS, and SSAS. Knowledge of Windows Server environments. Identify and troubleshoot resource contention issues. Understand flow down of Interface Design Documents to Data Definitions.
Required Skills
Current Secret Clearance with eligibility for TS. Effective communication skills, both oral and written, including technical documentation. Bachelors degree and five years of relevant experience. Must meet DoD 8140 IAT Level II or IAM Level I. Ability to learn new technologies independently.
