Quality Inspector
to support an industry-leading aerospace and defense project in
Fort Walton Beach, FL . In this role, you will inspect complex electronic assemblies, harnesses, cables, and circuit card assemblies to ensure they meet rigorous industry and customer standards. This is a full-time opportunity for a detail-oriented professional looking to make an impact in a mission-critical manufacturing environment. Required Skills and Qualifications: Minimum
3 years of experience
in quality control, inspection, or a related field Proven experience inspecting
electronic/electrical assemblies , cables, harnesses, SMT, and through-hole circuit card assemblies Strong understanding of
ISO 9001, AS9100 , or equivalent quality standards Able to read and interpret
blueprints, diagrams, and technical specifications Experience using
microscopes, eye loupes , and other magnification tools Familiarity with
measuring devices and electronic testing equipment Proficient in
Microsoft Office Suite
(Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Preferred Qualifications:
IPC-610 and J-STD-001 certification
strongly preferred IPC-620 and IPC-610 Instructor Certifications are a plus Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma
knowledge 5+ years of experience in
electronics assembly and inspection Associate's degree in a technical field (engineering, quality, or electronics) Key Responsibilities:
Perform in-process and final visual inspection of electronic assemblies and components Use predetermined methods, setups, and specifications to assess product quality Accept, reject, or rework defective or non-compliant units Interpret and apply BAE, customer, and regulatory standards in all inspections Document inspection results and support continuous improvement efforts Work in a fast-paced, safety-conscious production environment
