Demonstrates compliance with the Code of Conduct and compliance policies, takes action to resolve compliance questions or concerns, and reports suspected violations.
Selects, trains, orients, directs, coaches, evaluates, and counsels staff.
Evaluates leadership effectiveness and competence of supervisors, if applicable.
Selects, develops, and counsels employees in accordance with Human Resources management practices.
Under leadership, plans, prepares, implements, monitors, and controls the budget to ensure sound fiscal management aligned with hospital goals.
Adopts a performance improvement approach that includes employee empowerment, data-driven management, continuous improvement, customer orientation, and error minimization, including developing quality-monitoring systems.
Reports performance improvement results and addresses issues promptly.
Participates in developing tactical plans for areas of responsibility.
Implements operational changes to meet regulatory requirements and maintains readiness for Joint Commission and DHS surveys.
Implements policies, procedures, and directives appropriately.
Ensures high levels of satisfaction among employees, patients, and physicians, maintaining positive relations with stakeholders.
Develops and maintains open, honest relationships with managers, staff, hospital leadership, medical staff, and employees, consistent with Eisenhower Medical Centers mission and values.
Communicates effectively with treating physicians regarding scheduling, delays, and patient care issues, fostering open communication within the team.
Monitors clinic-specific business metrics and collaborates with staff to meet or exceed division goals.
Maintains clinics in a survey-ready state, compliant with JCAHO and other regulatory standards, and participates in inspections.
Monitors daily scheduling and electronic medical records worklists for efficiency and timely responses.
Assists in patient care activities, including rooming patients, entering health information, administering injections, and assisting with procedures.
Ensures compliance with regulatory and organizational policies.
Monitors lab quality checks and maintains supply levels.
Ensures high-quality patient care and support services valued by patients, physicians, and staff.
Adheres to National Patient Safety Goals and collaborates with clinical staff for compliance.
Implements process improvements to enhance customer satisfaction and hospital quality.
Schedules staff to ensure appropriate coverage, including floating and flexing as needed.
Monitors timekeeping and minimizes overtime and penalties.
Performs additional duties as assigned.
Possesses strong clinical skills in critical care nursing, with effective communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
Leads by example, demonstrating integrity, transparency, and accountability.
Understands the needs of the patient population served.
