About the Role
As a
Warehouse Assistant , you'll serve a critical dual function-supporting the flow of materials and finished goods in and out of our facility while ensuring inventory and documentation stay accurate and organized. You'll be part of the team that ensures our supply chain runs smoothly, products ship correctly, and all incoming items meet our high standards for quality and food safety.

What You'll Do Greet and check in drivers for both incoming materials and outbound shipments Assist with scheduling and coordination of inbound and outbound deliveries Receive and document inbound ingredients and packaging, including tomato bins Create and manage internal and external transfers and shuttles to support production Adjust inventory using our ERP system (JustFoods) and support ongoing physical counts Conduct monthly cycle counts for organic raw materials Follow up on discrepancies and communicate with customers to ensure shipment accuracy Verify incoming ingredients against Certificates of Analysis and quality specifications Assist with inventory investigations, damage reporting, and processing quality holds Post sales order invoices and help process outgoing sample requests Support product recall procedures if needed Handle incoming calls and assist with general clerical duties in the warehouse office Perform other duties as assigned Why It Matters Without accurate receiving, inventory, and documentation, production slows and errors increase. Requirements
What You Bring
High school diploma or GED required At least 1 year of experience in warehouse shipping/receiving; office experience preferred Previous experience in a food manufacturing or quality role is a plus Familiarity with ERP software (JustFoods or similar) is beneficial Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Basic math skills and solid attention to detail Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs and navigating varied facility environments Professional, courteous demeanor with a team-first attitude
