Manages the daily production Schedule for all assigned production lines.Maximizes throughput performance and optimizes labor and other inputs to best utilize plant and line capacity. Ensures that intermediate components for multi-level BOM parts are available in the appropriate sequence for seamless operation of finished goods production lines.Maintains the master schedule based on requested customer delivery dates, availability of raw materials, and equipment.Responds to and adjusts schedule for unplanned events such as changes in customer requirements, delays in receiving raw materials, availability of production equipment, etc. Advises appropriate parties in the plant and supply chain team of changes in the schedule.Key member of SIOP Team. Reviews monthly demand forecast, updates to stocking policies, and updates to suggested stocking levels, and adjusts master schedule accordingly to maximize overall facility capacity utilization and efficiency, working closely with production leadership to align shift resources appropriately to the schedule.Develops and maintains quarterly 12 month rolling rough cut capacity plan by production line.Maintains critical system master data including BOMs, MOMs, production minimums, etc. Actively reviews portfolio for opportunities to improve production performance (SKU rationalization, sourcing, sequencing, batch sizing, etc.)Engages with Purchasing on supplier choices for ingredient quality, availability, and total landed cost. Supports efforts to streamline and consolidate raw materials.Production team support - acts as first-line support to Blenders for queries on batching issues, schedule adherence/variance, sequencing, etc.Manufacturing R&D support: engages with R&D and product management in supporting the development and optimization of new and existing products with a view to ensuring accurate and timely system setups for high quality and efficient internal production.Other duties as assigned.Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities RequiredA bachelor's degree in supply chain, operations management, manufacturing engineers, or businessFive years' experience in manufacturing, production planning, and materials control function.Extensive hands-on experience with a fully integrated, ERP based MRP production planning system such as Epicor, Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, Oracle, etc.Ability to effectively negotiate competing internal needs and prioritize appropriately.Ability to build strong rapport with key internal customers, stakeholders, and operators.Ability to analyze large data sets to find trends, correlations, gaps, and opportunities, then present findings coherently.Ability to analyze situations and react in a timely manner.Ability to work effectively as a cross-functional team member and lead discussions and tactical decision-making when required.Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.Organizational Relationships:Reports to Director of Supply ChainThis position is ONSITE in Arlington, Texas, however the first month will be on the job training in McKinney, TX.
