Cook 2 Experienced Line Cook Location:

Department:
Culinary What you'll do at Choctaw Casino & Resort Cook a variety of fresh meals using techniques such as char-broiling, sauting, deep frying, roasting, griddling, and more. Follow standardized recipes to prepare flavorful and visually appealing dishes. Prep ingredients by washing, chopping, slicing, and peeling fruits and vegetables. Monitor the quality of all food being served and ensure consistent taste and presentation. Taste food before serving and apply appropriate garnishes. Follow portion guidelines to reduce food waste and maintain efficiency. Practice safe food handling, storage, and temperature control. Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized kitchen space throughout your shift. Assist with setup, service, and cleanup of food stations. Rotate stock and properly label food to ensure timely use before expiration. Complete other culinary tasks as assigned by leadership. You'll bring the heat if you have: The ability to read and follow recipes accurately Food Safety

2 years of experience
as a broiler/saut cook in a high-volume, upscale kitchen Proficiency in various cooking methods from griddling to poaching A commitment to culinary excellence and delivering a great guest experience Add a little extra flavor with: Experience in casino, resort, or fast-paced restaurant environments A strong sense of timing, multitasking, and attention to detail
