Title:
Founding Recruiter (flexible on title for the right hire, could go up to Head of Talent)
Location:
Los Angeles (hybrid), preferred
Reporting Structure:
Reports to the CEO + Co-Founder
Company Description
Radix Health protects patients from surprise healthcare bills and fights for fair insurance payments to healthcare providers.
Specifically, we leverage the No Surprises Act's Independent Dispute Resolution (IDR) process to quickly and efficiently boost out-of-network reimbursement for providers at scale.
We combine Silicon Valley software engineering with deep healthcare expertise, unlocking a seamless and transparent way for providers to embrace the new out-of-network reimbursement landscape.
Radix is led by ambitious co-founders with diverse prior experience, spanning from healthcare services Investment Banking / Private Equity to product management in high-growth tech.
We've quickly grown to be the leading solution in our space. Our pre-empted Series A was led by Bessemer Venture Partners in June, and we are growing rapidly (3x growth since April).
The Role
We're looking for our
Founding Recruiter , someone who will set the tone for all things hiring at Radix. This person won't just fill roles; they'll build the recruiting foundation that fuels our next phase of growth. From engineering and GTM to marketing, ops, and CS, you'll own the full recruiting lifecycle, act as a thought partner to leadership, and craft an outstanding candidate experience.
What You'll Do Own searches end-to-end
across multiple functions (engineering, GTM, marketing, ops, CS), handling both technical and non-technical roles. Close key hires quickly
by using creative sourcing strategies and persuasive storytelling about Radix's mission, tech, and growth story. Build recruiting infrastructure
through interview scorecards, hiring processes, dashboards, ATS workflows, knowing when to keep things scrappy vs. scale up. Source like a pro
leveraging boolean, LinkedIn Recruiter, and niche platforms to build targeted pipelines rather than relying solely on inbound. Partner with founders & hiring managers
as a strategic advisor, coaching, pushing back diplomatically, and helping shape hiring strategy. Balance volume & variety
by managing 5-10+ concurrent searches across departments without sacrificing quality. Champion the candidate experience,
ensuring every touchpoint reflects our values and leaves candidates feeling respected and excited. Report and iterate
using data (pipeline health, conversion rates, source of hire) to guide decisions and share insights with leadership. What We're Looking For
Full-cycle recruiting expertise
across diverse roles (engineering, GTM, ops, marketing, CS). Proven success closing roles fast
in competitive markets (bonus if you can point to metrics like time-to-fill or hires per quarter). Storytelling ability
- you can sell Radix to A-players who may not be actively looking. Strong sourcing chops
and experience with boolean search, LinkedIn Recruiter, and niche platforms. Process builder/operator mindset
- you know when to keep it simple and when to formalize. Stakeholder management finesse
- you can work directly with founders and hiring managers as a trusted partner. Experience juggling multiple roles
across different departments simultaneously. Startup/founding recruiter experience
(preferred) - you've set up ATS systems, created interview training, and built recruiting strategy from scratch. Health tech recruiting experience
is nice to have, but experience hiring for similarly complex industries (fintech, govtech, etc.) also works. Los Angeles-based
is a plus, but not a dealbreaker. #Perks
Be part of a pioneering team at a fast-growing health-tech startup. Opportunity to take on significant responsibilities and make a direct impact on the company's success. A collaborative, mission-driven work environment where your ideas will be valued and put into action. Full medical, dental, and vision insurance coverage 401k Offices with casual vibes in LA and Manhattan (between Chelsea + the Flatiron District)
Note: Unfortunately we are unable to sponsor visas at this time
