Front Desk Receptionist
Symphony Honolulu, a luxury condominium in the heart of Kaka?ako, is seeking a professional and personable Front Desk Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for residents, guests, and visitors. This role is essential to maintaining a high standard of service and hospitality in the building. Responsibilities include visitor check-ins, reservation and package management, coordination with internal departments, and supporting daily operations alongside the Resident Assistants (RAs). The ideal candidate will take pride in maintaining an orderly front desk and providing a warm, polished experience for everyone who enters the lobby. Essential Job Duties: Greet and assist residents, guests, and vendors in a professional, friendly manner. Check in and log all visitors according to building policies. Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk and lobby area at all times. Coordinate with other departments (maintenance, housekeeping, security, etc.) to ensure timely resolution of resident and operational needs. Collaborate with the RAs to support community initiatives, resident engagement, and smooth daily operations. Review, approve, or decline reservation requests based on building guidelines. Receive, log, and organize incoming parcels and packages. Answer and route phone calls; manage incoming mail, emails, and messages. Assist with the creation and distribution of signs, mass emails, and other resident communications as needed. Marginal Job Duties: Perform additional tasks and special projects as assigned by management. Supervision Exercised: None Supervision Received: Receives general direction from the Executive Assistant and General Manager. Salary Range: $19-$21 per hour Requirements: Front desk, concierge, or customer service experience preferred. Must demonstrate professionalism, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to interact with a wide range of individuals while maintaining discretion and composure. Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written) Typing speed of 6070 wpm recommended Proficient in Microsoft Office and other basic computer programs Familiarity with multi-line phone systems and package tracking procedures is a plus Ability to work independently and cooperatively in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a tidy, orderly work environment Background in hospitality, administration, or related fields preferred.
