You must be permanent in the Clerical Associate title. The OCSS Borough Offices (BO) are the entry point into the child support system for custodial parents who are Cash Assistance applicants and recipients. Custodial parents are automatically referred for child support services as a requirement for full benefits for their household. When the noncustodial parent’s whereabouts are known, cases are referred to family court to initiate legal proceedings for support orders or paternity establishment. The agency assists custodial parents in collecting due monies using all available means. Under supervision of the Office Manager (Principal Administrative Associate I), with some independence, the Clerical Associate III functions as the Borough Office Clerical Supervisor, overseeing clerical staff in the Intake/Interview and Court Prep/Processing Units. The OCSS Borough Office (BO) is recruiting for one (1) Clerical Associate Level III to serve as a Scheduling Unit Supervisor. Responsibilities include: Supervising and scheduling work for clerical support staff, ensuring coverage. Tracking and maintaining case records using systems like CSMS, WMS, and DMV. Compiling weekly reports and updating case rosters. Providing staff training on policies and procedures. Responding to telephone inquiries and referring callers as needed. Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent and at least one year of satisfactory clerical experience. Typing ability of at least 100 keystrokes per minute. This position is open to qualified persons with disabilities eligible for the 55-a Program. Indicate this on your resume and cover letter.
