A premier national law firm is seeking an experienced Labor & Employment Counsel to join its team in San Francisco or Los Angeles, CA. This role is ideal for an attorney with 9–12 years of experience in employment litigation and counseling. About the Role The Counsel will handle single-plaintiff litigation, class actions, and PAGA matters, working cases from inception to resolution. The ideal candidate will have experience in discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour claims, and other employment law matters. Strong research, writing, and litigation skills are essential, along with the ability to independently manage cases. Key Responsibilities Defend against single-plaintiff litigation, PAGA claims, and class actions Handle all aspects of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, motions, depositions, and trial preparation Provide counseling on federal and California employment laws Draft and argue dispositive and discovery motions Conduct plaintiff depositions and defend corporate witness depositions Qualifications J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school Active California Bar license Strong background in employment litigation and compliance Ability to manage cases independently A portable book of business is preferred but not required Compensation & Benefits Salary range: $265,000 – $290,000 Bonus eligibility Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits 401(k) with firm contributions Additional firm-provided perks and benefits If you are a seasoned labor & employment attorney looking to take the next step in your career with a highly regarded firm, apply today!
