Senior Technical Recruiter
to partner as an independent consultant with high-growth technology clients across Southern California and beyond. This is a strategic recruiting role focused on sourcing and hiring top-tier technical talent across engineering, product, data, cloud, security, and IT verticals. Youll act as an embedded talent partner, working directly with hiring managers, executives, and internal HR teams to build scalable and sustainable talent pipelines. Key Responsibilities: Partner with client stakeholders (CTOs, VPs of Engineering, Heads of Product) to scope roles, define requirements, and craft compelling candidate outreach strategies. Execute full-cycle recruitment including sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer negotiation, and onboarding coordination. Develop and maintain strong talent pipelines using tools like LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, Stack Overflow, and niche engineering communities. Leverage metrics to continuously improve time-to-fill, quality of hire, and candidate experience. Provide strategic guidance on market data, compensation trends, and technical skill availability. Represent the client brand with professionalism and a candidate-first approach. Qualifications: 7+ years of experience in technical recruiting, ideally with a mix of agency and in-house or consulting experience. Proven success hiring for a wide range of roles: Software Engineers (Front-End, Back-End, Full Stack), DevOps, Data Engineers, Cloud Architects, and Technical Product Managers. Strong sourcing skills with a command of Boolean search, referral strategies, and passive candidate engagement. Consultative mindset with the ability to advise hiring managers on recruiting best practices and market conditions. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Based in Orange County, CA with the ability to travel locally for occasional on-site meetings.
