Directive Consulting is a performance marketing agency for SaaS and Tech companies, focusing on Customer Generation to meet client SQL targets through Paid Media, SEO/Content, CRO, and Video strategies. Note:
This role is internally titled Content Marketing Strategist. The Content Strategists and Sr Content Strategists are client-facing roles responsible for deliverables, strategy creation, and communication with clients and internal teams. They handle more Enterprise clients, requiring a deep understanding of their service line and its impact on business to create holistic marketing strategies. The ideal candidate must have a strong grasp of content strategy, technical SEO (site audits, structured data, Core Web Vitals), and the ability to blend technical insights with content initiatives to drive organic growth. Roles And Responsibilities
Strategic Excellence and Best Practices
Develop and implement custom marketing strategies aligned with client goals and directives. Optimize strategies based on project phases, performance data, and ongoing campaigns. Collaborate with Associate Directors to address challenges and ensure strategy alignment. Create creative briefs and develop compelling content campaigns based on insights. Apply frameworks like LTV modeling, customer generation, share of SERP, and content production. Goal Setting
Use data from Google Analytics, CRM, SEMrush, and Ahrefs to set measurable goals. Work with AsDs to review and finalize goals before presenting to clients. Project Management
Manage execution of strategies, tasks, and timelines using Asana. Coordinate with content writers, designers, and project managers to deliver high-quality campaigns. Communication
Serve as the main client contact, building trust and relationships. Communicate deliverables, timelines, and updates via Slack and meetings. Inform leadership of roadblocks and opportunities, including strategy pivots. Reporting and Insights
Provide regular updates on strategy progress through meetings and reports. SEO Skills
Conduct technical SEO audits and deliver actionable recommendations. Implement on-page and off-page SEO strategies, including keyword research and link-building. Tools
Must-have: Screaming Frog, SEMrush, GA4, Search Console, Excel. Nice-to-have: Ahrefs, STAT, BrightEdge. What We Offer
