The Rural Advanced Practice Professional Clinic Supervisor (RAPPCS) provides administrative and clinical oversight for local primary care operations, including supervision of medical and support staff. The role involves collaborative work with other departments, ensuring high-quality healthcare delivery, and supporting organizational goals. The RAPPCS also provides direct patient care, including after-hours on-call services. Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive primary care to patients of all ages, including urgent and emergent care. Supervise and direct local primary care staff, participate in budget management, and handle staffing and administrative duties. Respond to patient complaints, review care quality, and manage clinic operations such as scheduling, supply orders, and staff evaluations. Act as a liaison between the clinic and other programs or community entities, representing SEARHC in local health activities. Qualifications

NP or PA license in Alaska, with active DEA registration and SEARHC privileges. Board certification in a specialty, with required certifications such as BLS, ACLS, PALS, and ATLS within one year of employment. Minimum of three years clinical experience, with supervisory experience preferred. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Strong understanding of primary healthcare principles and emergency protocols. Excellent communication, leadership, and conflict resolution skills. Proficiency with medical equipment and electronic health records. Ability to educate patients, promote health, and adhere to healthcare standards and regulations.
