BCG Attorney Search
A law firm seeks a Family Law Attorney in Dallas, TX. The ideal candidate will represent clients in various family law matters, including prenuptial agreements, divorce, alimony, and child support. This role requires handling sensitive issues such as child custody and domestic violence with composure and effective negotiation skills.
Duties
Handle the division of marital assets during divorce proceedings. Organize and maintain current client files. Advocate for clients by understanding their needs and forming strategic plans. Attend court proceedings to represent clients. Communicate with senior partners and paralegals to progress cases. Manage full case responsibilities from inception to resolution. Develop strategic approaches and lead paralegals and legal assistants. Work collaboratively with team members and cross-train as needed. Cultivate relationships with existing and future clients. Analyze case-specific legal issues and documentation. Maintain excellent client rapport through consistent communication. Requirements
Previous legal background preferred. 1-2 years of experience in family law and real estate issues required. Strong negotiation and communication skills in stressful situations. Proven success in advocating for plaintiffs and defendants. Must have worked in Family Law for at least two years. Licensed to practice law in Texas and in good standing with the State Bar of Texas. Education
Bachelor's degree with a legal background. Certifications
Licensed to practice law in the State of Texas. Skills
