The ideal candidate will handle a diverse caseload, working with sophisticated clients on cutting-edge legal issues, while being supported by a collaborative and dynamic practice group. Duties: Manage and litigate employment-related cases, including single-plaintiff FEHA claims, wage and hour disputes, and PAGA claims. Take on significant responsibility in class action cases, commercial litigation, and privacy litigation. Conduct thorough legal research and prepare persuasive legal briefs, motions, and other litigation documents. Engage in settlement negotiations and help strategize case resolutions in collaboration with senior attorneys. Provide clients with strategic legal counsel and practical solutions to complex employment and commercial matters. Participate in the development and execution of case strategies, from discovery through trial. Foster strong client relationships, maintaining communication and ensuring clients are kept informed throughout the litigation process. Contribute to the firm’s ongoing success through active participation in team discussions and mentorship programs. Requirements: At least one year of litigation experience, preferably in labor and employment law. Experience with wage and hour claims, PAGA actions, or class action litigation is a plus. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to craft compelling legal arguments and provide clear client advice. Demonstrated excellence in legal research, writing, and analysis. Proven ability to manage cases independently and work collaboratively in a team environment. Motivated, self-starter with a strong initiative and drive to contribute to a growing national practice. Must be licensed and in good standing to practice law in California. Education: Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school. Certifications: Active California Bar membership in good standing. Skills: Exceptional legal research and writing skills. Strong analytical abilities, with an attention to detail. Experience in wage & hour, PAGA claims, and class action litigation is highly beneficial. Skilled negotiator, comfortable with settlement discussions and case resolution. Proficiency with case management tools and legal research databases. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
