Base pay range

Location:
Dallas or Houston Offices - Some Travel as necessary
Salary:
$190k-$220k+ - Depending on Experience
Requirements:
7+ years of experience in preconstruction and estimating, with at least 3 years focused on mission-critical or MEP-intensive projects, Data Centers, BMS expertise, Project Management
What You Will Be Doing
Manage the full preconstruction process from project pursuit through handoff to operations.
Lead internal and external coordination of drawings, specifications, and scope development for white space/server hall build-outs.
Analyze design documents for completeness, constructability, and cost efficiency.
Develop clear scopes of work and bid packages for critical trades, with a strong focus on MEP, controls, containment, and electrical infrastructure.
Guide design decisions based on schedule, budget, and availability of materials and systems.
What You Need For This Role
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a related field required. 8+ years of experience in preconstruction and estimating, with at least 3 years focused on mission-critical or MEP-intensive projects. BMS Systems expertise strongly desired, Customer/Client relations Proven track record of leading preconstruction efforts for data center server hall fit-out or similar technical build-outs. Deep understanding of electrical and mechanical systems, including UPS, switchgear, CRAH/CRAC units, containment, and structured cabling. Experience with GMP, lump sum, and design/build project delivery models. Proficient in estimating software (e.g., Accubid) and construction tools including Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Project.
