A world leader in water treatment solutions, IDE specializes in the development, engineering, construction and operation of desalination, water reuse, and industrial water treatment plants. Role Description: The Regional Sales Manager is responsible to develop and execute Sales activities for IDE Water Solutions. This person will represent, position and support related IDE activities as well as initiate new activities and projects to grow water treatment systems sales. Key Responsibilities and Duties: (duties include but are not limited to the following) Position Overview: Identify water treatment system leads in the assigned region Attend conferences, organize customer lunch and learns, participate in relevant local water associations Drive the pipeline of development opportunities Participate in customer meetings and site visits to understand the customers’ challenges, evaluate IDE’s positioning, and collaborate on proposed solutions. Develop and maintain relationships for IDE Water Solutions Support the risk assessment process related to such projects Qualifications and Skills: A minimum of 7-10 years of experience and a proven track record working in a senior sales/developer position Experience in the water treatment field Relevant technical / engineering background is a must Good analytical skills to identify market threats and opportunities Negotiation and presentation skills Ability to allocate and prioritize resources to meet challenges and achieve revenue targets Able to work in a demanding and busy environment Thorough knowledge of modern Industrial Practices and Processes Practical aptitude, self-motivated,and a confident communicator Personal Attributes: People person - Excellent communication and interface skills Organized and methodological Ability to work as part of a team Strong analytical skills Capable of working in a multi-culture environment and time-zones Willing to travel within the assigned territory Good problem-solving skills Commitment to quality of work and company goals Effectively perform in stressful situations Preference for this position will be given to those located in CA.
