C5IM Interoperability Manager, SME
Job Category: Engineering and Technical Support Time Type: Full time Minimum Clearance Required to Start: Secret Employee Type: Regular Percentage of Travel Required: Up to 10% Type of Travel: Local CAA is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the role of C5 Interoperability Manager to support our customer, U.S. Southern Command (USSOUTHCOM), in Doral, Florida. This position is contingent upon award. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the C5 Interoperability processes in alignment with USSOUTHCOM and Department of State Mission Planning Objectives. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth and efficient implementation of Partner Nation C5 Interoperability capabilities across USSOUTHCOM Cyber Information Technology Enterprise Services (SCITES). Key Responsibilities:
Provide cyber-enabling services to inform and impact IT/cyber systems management and interoperability of C5IM systems throughout the Enterprise Information Environment (EIE). Use broad holistic knowledge of lifecycle to analyze and recommend improvements for workflow, minimizing disruption for users, administrators, planners, and engineers. Review and validate Service Level Agreements for technology integration opportunities and trends. Conduct iterative analyses to identify programmatic shortfalls and necessary changes to ensure sustainment success. Lead Technical Exchange Meetings (TEMs), ensure documentation is provided and stored according to ERM requirements. Analyze policy and guidance changes, recommend updates to planning documents for compliance and clarity. Analyze high-level integration issues, recommend strategies among ongoing projects and operations. Support the PMO CM on technology-driven process improvements that are specific, measurable, achievable, realistic, and time-based. Assist in CM management of the CAB/CCB process, facilitating compliance and rapid change process adherence. Oversee site configuration/data managers, ensure monthly metrics are delivered. Guide Site Liaisons on HBG processes, gather feedback on system availability and trends. Apply comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and assignments. Plan and lead major technology assignments. Evaluate performance results and recommend changes for project growth and success. Function as a technical expert across multiple projects and supervise others if necessary. Required Qualifications:
Active secret clearance Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field Minimum 13 years of experience in C5IM roles or equivalent DoD and commercial experience ITIL v4 Foundation certification DoD 8140 Intermediate qualification or similar industry standard Proven ability to lead and facilitate stakeholder meetings Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Experience with change management tools and ITSM platforms (ServiceNow) Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in large, distributed IT enterprise environments Knowledge of DevOps practices and principles Project Management Professional (PMP) certification What You Can Expect:
