Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with prior Siemens CT and PACS experience for a night shift contract requiring ARRT registry or eligibility and advanced CT certification.
Responsibilities Work in a hospital Computerized Tomography departmentAdult and pediatric patient populationNight shifts Monday through Thursday, 8:30 PM to 7:00 AMSiemens CT equipment experience requiredUses PACS, EPIC, and IMPAX systems for image transfer and documentationAdministers oral and IV contrast per protocol and maintains strict safety proceduresObtain and analyze diagnostic CT images including multi-planar and 3D reconstructionsVerify patient identification, assist with patient history, and confirm pregnancy status when appropriateAdminister and ensure eligibility for contrast per established protocols and check necessary lab valuesMaintain a thorough understanding of PACS, image transmission, and order processingParticipate in workflow efficiency, precept new employees and students, and contribute to a clean, organized work environmentExpect a two-week turnaround for background check and drug screen results following offer
