The Project Manager II is a senior role responsible for overseeing projects from start to finish, ensuring client satisfaction. Manages 2-4 small to medium projects or 1-2 large projects concurrently. This role involves mentorship and is on-site or in the office five days a week. What You’ll Do
Train and guide Project Assistants and Project Managers I. Plan and organize projects under senior supervision. Establish project objectives, policies, and standards. Negotiate change orders and supervise their preparation. Coordinate with clients and architects to facilitate construction. Support construction activities on-site with Foremen and Superintendents. Resolve issues proactively and implement corrective actions. Represent the company in meetings. Manage change quotations and negotiate successfully. Prepare monthly cost reports. Oversee financial aspects like billing and expenses. Assist in developing new business opportunities. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred. Minimum 5 years of project management experience. Success Factors
Strong performance management skills. Extensive safety knowledge. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Oracle. Ability to prioritize and adapt under pressure. Excellent communication skills. Self-motivated and team-oriented. Effective interaction with all organizational levels and external partners. Travel
Up to 25%. Working Conditions
Work may be on active construction sites or in offices. Environmental conditions vary; includes sitting, standing, walking, and lifting up to 30 lbs.
