Infosys is seeking a

Senior Oracle Database Administrator . The Senior Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) is responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and performance tuning of Oracle Database systems to ensure their integrity, availability, and security. It also involves managing database architecture, implementing backup and recovery strategies, and troubleshooting issues to support business operations. This role may require close collaboration with development and IT teams to optimize database performance and ensure data is stored, access and maintained efficiently in line with organization objectives and Service environment.

Required skills : • The client is based out of Wichita, Kansas. Candidate can work

anywhere from USA . This position may require few travels per client needs. • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education. • At least 11 years of Information Technology experience. • At least 8 years of Oracle Database Administration support or similar experience. • This role may involve elevated access to Impact Level 4 (IL4) data and/or security requirements for handling controlled unclassified information (CUI) and sensitive data as defined by US Department of Defense (DoD). The eligible candidates must

be US Citizens only • Extensive experience with Oracle Database 11g, 12c, 19c. • Proficiency in Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC) and Data Guard. • Strong knowledge of Oracle ASM (Automatic Storage Management). • Expertise in performance tuning and optimization techniques. • Experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) for monitoring and management. • Proficient in PL/SQL programming and scripting. • Familiarity with Unix/Linux operating systems and shell scripting. • Compliance: Comply with the ITIL process and meet the SLA requirements.

Preferred Skills: • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills • Ability to work independently and manage complex technical solutions • Technical leadership and mentoring capabilities • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Oracle Cloud. • Knowledge of other database technologies like MSSQL, MySQL & PostgreSQL. • Understanding of DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes). • Experience with data warehousing and ETL processes. • Certification in Oracle Database Administration (OCP or OCM).
