immixGroup is seeking a strategic Business Development Representative to expand our line card by identifying, pursuing, qualifying, and activating new supplier lines focused on the US Public Sector (FED and SLED) markets. You will serve as the front line in helping these companies understand how immixGroup can support their growth and success. A deep understanding of distribution's role in the public sector ecosystem and the ability to leverage this knowledge to align our value with supplier needs is essential. What You’ll Be Doing
Establish major new relationships with strategic companies from an account list developed with management. Identify and pursue key decision-makers and influencers to assess business needs across all Arrow solutions. Qualify opportunities throughout the sales cycle to ensure alignment with Arrow’s goals and customer success criteria. Differentiate Arrow by positioning our unique value proposition across Channel Services, Integration, and Logistics services. Lead cross-functional pursuit teams of Arrow SMEs to secure each opportunity. Negotiate complex deals with multiple components to structure mutually beneficial relationships and frameworks for successful supplier engagement. Coordinate with internal stakeholders from Executive Management, Finance, and Operations to evaluate offerings and ensure alignment with Arrow’s capabilities and priorities. Design service structures that meet and exceed customer expectations. Maintain a focus on time efficiency, managing a healthy pipeline of 15-20 sales cycles at various stages, with accurate forecasting of size and timelines. Success is defined by large, profitable wins for Arrow. What We Are Looking For
5+ years in Sales, Business Development, or distribution leadership with a proven track record of exceeding targets. Experience in solution selling across multiple stakeholders, including CRO and CFO levels. Well-connected within the public sector IT sales channel. Strong business development skills and excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Exceptional time management, organization, and customer service skills. Ability to prioritize, multitask, handle ambiguity, and work under pressure. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Demonstrated ability to sell, persuade, influence, and negotiate. Ability to build relationships at all supplier levels. Proven success in originating new business and converting leads into qualified prospects. Work Arrangement
Fully remote; travel to Arrow offices may be required as per leadership requests. Benefits
