This role is responsible for dispatching and coordinating the activities of staff to ensure the timely transport and distribution of supplies, equipment, and paperwork throughout the hospital and outpatient clinical areas. The Team Lead provides training, mentorship, and performance feedback to staff, participates in quality improvement initiatives, and ensures compliance with safety and organizational standards. Additionally, the Team Lead acts as a resource for resolving departmental issues and collaborates with other departments to maintain continuity of service.MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:High school education or equivalent.Minimum of two years of experience as a Supply, Distribution, Logistics Technician, or similar role.Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with staff, interdisciplinary teams, and internal customers.Proficiency in Windows-based software and ability to learn and utilize inventory management systems (e.g., Workday MMIS, Par Excellence, WD Mobile).Strong organizational skills to prioritize daily activities and manage multiple tasks.Analytical ability to plan, coordinate, and resolve staff issues effectively.Ability to concentrate and pay close attention to detail 100% of the work time.Knowledge of lean supply philosophy and basic analytics using Microsoft products or other tools.Flexibility to be available for on-call duties to meet department needs.Children's Wisconsin is an equal opportunity / affirmative action employer.
