Base pay range $160,000.00/yr - $175,000.00/yr Additional compensation types Annual Bonus Location: Midtown Manhattan, NYC Hybrid (3 days/week onsite) Overview: Our client, a well-established, high-performing investment firm based in Midtown Manhattan is seeking a versatile and highly capable Infrastructure Engineer to join their growing technology team. This is a full-time, permanent role that offers broad exposure across systems, network infrastructure, and internal tools. This is a position that supports both strategic IT projects and day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate will have strong networking fundamentals, and comfort working across a variety of platforms. You'll play a critical role in maintaining core infrastructure, optimizing systems, and helping drive efficiency through process improvement and automation. Core Responsibilities: Support and maintain the firm's network infrastructure, including routers, switches, access points, firewalls (Cisco, Meraki, etc.), and VPN Troubleshoot a wide range of technical issues related to connectivity, user access, hardware, and systems uptime Manage the firm's SharePoint environment, including permissions, and integration with other business systems Collaborate with internal teams to design and implement scalable infrastructure solutions Support Windows and cloud-based infrastructure, including server patching, system upgrades, and endpoint management Contribute to internal automation and system improvement efforts using scripting or integration tools Assist with identity and access management, documentation, and system monitoring Work closely with security and compliance teams to uphold infrastructure standards and audit readiness Partner with end users and business stakeholders to deliver reliable, well-supported IT services Ideal Profile: Solid understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP), routing, switching, and firewall management Experience working with Cisco and/or Meraki networking equipment in a production environment Working knowledge of SharePoint administration and its use in a corporate or financial setting Hands-on experience with Windows Server, O365, Active Directory, and related infrastructure technologies Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills with a proactive approach to problem solving Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset Experience in financial services (hedge fund, investment management, private equity, etc.) strongly preferred This role offers: 100% Free Health, Dental, Vision Coverage, starting Day 1 of Employment (No Waiting Period) Competitive compensation and annual bonus, Profit Sharing and more Strong long-term growth potential Exposure to a wide range of technologies and business functions Opportunity to work with a small but highly skilled and collaborative team Seniority level Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Employment type Full-time Job function Job function Information Technology Industries Technology, Information and Media, Investment Management, and Financial Services Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Summit Staffing Partners by 2x Inferred from the description for this job Medical insurance Vision insurance 401(k) Disability insurance Paid paternity leave Paid maternity leave Child care support Get notified about new Information Technology Infrastructure Engineer jobs in New York, NY .
