American Traveler is seeking an experienced Sonographer with ARDMS and BLS certification to work nights in an acute care setting.
Responsibilities Position is in an acute care hospital environmentNight shift schedule, Sunday through Thursday, 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with Fridays and Saturdays offNo call is required for this positionIndependent scanning requiredUses Epic EMR system and recent Epic or combined Epic/Cerner experience is necessaryMaximum of 7 days requested time off allowed; no new time off after profile submissionMust live at least 100 miles away from the facility to be eligibleCandidates with an assignment in San Diego for the past 9+ months are considered local and ineligibleReturn staff must wait 1 year before returningExtension allowed for up to 1 year, then a 1-year break is required before returningInternational travelers must have at least 1 year of recent U.S. experiencePossible floating in rotation with staff per facility policy and candidate’s clinical experienceCandidates must include at least one supervisory reference for considerationScrubs and dress code to follow facility policy
