American Traveler is seeking a Cardiac Sonographer with ARDMS or CCI certification and at least 2 years of experience for a weekday assignment in an acute care setting.
Responsibilities Work in an acute care hospital on a dedicated echocardiography unitPatient population consists of individuals needing cardiac ultrasounds (echocardiograms)Unit consists of one Cardiac SonographerMonday through Friday schedule, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PMNo call and no weekend requirementsUses EpicCare Inpatient EMR 2014 Certified EHR SuitePrimary responsibility is to perform diagnostic cardiac ultrasounds (echocardiograms)Works independently as the sole Cardiac Sonographer on the unitNo on-call responsibilities or weekend coverage requiredBusiness casual or scrub attire as required by unit policyNo orientation hours provided
