As an Account Executive, your role will be pivotal in transforming how businesses manage their tax responsibilities—typically the second or third largest cost items, historically addressed with outdated 1990s technology. The Account Executive will be responsible for promoting the tax.com platform in the mid-market to enterprise marketplace. The ideal candidate will possess both a sales and technical background that enables them to drive new business opportunities at the client’s Finance and Tax functional levels, as well as with their IT counterparts. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with excellent verbal and written communication skills is essential. Duties and Responsibilities

Selling the tax.com platform, the most comprehensive corporate tax software, to new mid-market and enterprise customers across multiple verticals Managing complex sales cycles from discovery, relationship building, to closing and onboarding Collaborating closely with Sales Development, Sales Engineering, and Sales Management teams to strategically plan and exceed quotas Taking ownership and accountability for targets with a high level of drive and activity Providing thought leadership, market feedback, and customer insights to drive product innovation and sales productivity Developing referrals and reference accounts through long-term strategic relationships Qualifications

Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas in B2B SaaS sales environments Outbound prospecting and hunter mentality Experience selling to Finance and/or Tax preferred Excellent time management and communication skills Education and Experience

5+ years of solution software sales experience, with a history of managing and closing new customers Experience selling cloud/SaaS software Ability to articulate value propositions to C-Level, Finance, and HR executives Experience in financial technology is a plus Bachelor’s degree or equivalent Work Environment
