Principal SAP Analyst, Logistics and EWM

Overview Waters is looking to expand its SAP team with a seasoned SAP EWM expert as we embark on a multi-year initiative to modernize our SAP platform by moving to S/4HANA.
This role supports the Waters Global Operations Strategy & Operational Excellence organization in improving customer and employee experience by transforming how we plan, buy, make, and distribute products. You will be responsible for guiding and approving design decisions to ensure EWM is optimized for global operations and aligned with the enterprise solutions strategy. This requires a deep understanding of end-to-end solution design, SAP ecosystem integration, and collaboration across a global organization operating on a single SAP instance.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute roadmaps for warehousing and logistics processes leveraging SAP S/4HANA EWM, WM, and IM functionalities.
Apply a 'standard-first' mindset to drive process harmonization and reduce customizations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to craft adaptable solutions, presenting options with pros and cons.
Document business requirements and review proposed configurations and customizations.
Design and configure SAP EWM solutions, working with developers on reports, interfaces, and workflows.
Test and troubleshoot SAP EWM to ensure alignment with business processes.
Support logistics applications, including SAP and non-SAP systems.
Contribute to warehouse project planning and implementation.
Partner with Global Operations and IT leaders on approach, resourcing, and risk management.
Stay updated on industry best practices and bring relevant insights.
Advocate for Waters' SAP solutions across Global Operations.
Qualifications
8+ years experience with SAP Extended Warehouse Management, including functional or development roles.
Strong understanding of SAP EWM functions and configuration.
Experience translating business requirements into SAP solutions.
Ability to influence and align diverse opinions and interests.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Proven success in designing and delivering SAP solutions with global teams.
Deep knowledge of SAP's capabilities, interconnectivity, and dependencies in a global environment.
Technical expertise in SAP configuration and custom development.
Leadership skills and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Relevant academic background, preferably with professional accreditation.
Effective communication at executive levels.
