$180-210K Description:
The Senior HPC Systems Administrator at Tulzi will oversee the health and status of our IT infrastructure, utilizing UNIX and NT systems, and will be responsible for installing and configuring hardware, operating systems, and commercial software packages. Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field and 10 years of experience in system administration supporting large client-server IT enterprises, or 5 years of full-time computer science work plus 10 years of relevant experience. Professional certifications recognized in the industry may substitute for 1 year of experience. Experience in hardware, OS installation, configuration, and networking for UNIX and NT platforms. Experience with user account management, system backups, and configuration maintenance. Basic understanding of operating systems and familiarity with UNIX or NT commands/utilities. Ability to develop enterprise backup/recovery strategies, server configuration, and infrastructure health verification. Support for enterprise services like DNS, NFS, email, security, and system interoperability. Additional Qualifications (by TTO): Installation, configuration, tuning, troubleshooting, and administration of multi-vendor servers running COTS, open source, and in-house applications for HPC support. Experience with Red Hat or Suse Linux, FC SAN storage or SSDs, and distributed computing tools like ReS, LSF, and SLURM. Experience with HPC farm systems, clustered systems, front-end servers, and multi-vendor filesystems such as XFS, GPFS, and Lustre. Certifications: RHCSA or higher, VMWare, IAT Level II, and Lustre experience preferred.
