Job Summary: A(n) Hardware Specialist Information Technology - Deskside Support III job in Rockville, Maryland 20852 is currently available through Belcan at one of our key NRC clients. To be considered for this role, you will have a bachelor's degree, an ITIL v4 certification, and 5 years of relevant experience. Job Duties: Provide escalation support from Tier I & Tier II team members, as well as providing troubleshooting & deskside support to federal & contract employees in a Windows-based environment. Identify, troubleshoot, & resolve any hardware, software or other technical issues. Possess Five-or-more years of experience in a Windows environment provisioning (imaging, configuring, installing software), deploying, & troubleshooting. Possess proficient troubleshooting skills & the ability to resolve issues efficiently & effectively while minimizing the downtime to end users. Be able to professionally & effectively communicate with a dynamic customer base, in a high paced, Headquarters-focused environment. Support PCs/Desktop/Laptop users & resolve issues with Microsoft, Adobe, Word, Office, PowerPoint or any other deployed software. Skilled at resolving problems through customer education, training & direct assistance. Adept at providing phone & in-person support to users for various systems, including e-mail, user account administration, active directory, standard desktop images & applications. Serve as the point of contact for troubleshooting all IT related problems, including hardware/software, passwords, & printer problems. Required Qualifications: Must be able to obtain & maintain an NRC Public Trust Security clearance; Active clearance is a huge plus. Possess at least one of the following certifications: A+, Net+, Sec+ Possess an ITIL v4 Foundations certification. Preferred Qualifications & Skills: Possess some additional IT Certs, such as: MTA, MCSA, or MCSE. Possess a certification with ServiceNow. Compensation: We provide a competitive pay and benefits package. This position is offering a salary range of $30.00-$32.00. Belcan considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to education, experience, geographic location, and discipline.
