As Payroll Officer, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end payroll process for a group of companies in a global setting. Duties and responsibilities will include: Ensure that payroll is processed accurately on a monthly basis for approximately 150 plus employees and global contractors. Handle employee inquiries related to payroll and benefits. Manage the data entry, processing, and checking of payroll information to ensure the employee pay records and all payroll related data held in the payroll system is accurate. Prepare and submit annual payroll tax payments. Oversee End of Year processing and reconciliation tasks, including the timely submission of Single Touch Payroll. Prepare and submit Annual and Monthly PAYG, Payroll tax, Workcover reconciliations and payments to the relevant states. Efficiently handle superannuation calculations and ensure timely reconciliation and remittance of funds according to established deadlines. Process Termination and provide redundancy calculation as required. Coordinate with HR operations and Business partners to ensure proper handling of employee exits. Run reports and send them to relevant stakeholders. Create monthly reports relating to leave liability and accruals. Address and resolve data inconsistencies, managing employee detail changes with appropriate processes that align with compliance requirements. Diploma in Accounting Proven experience in managing full-cycle payroll processing Experience with any large-scale payroll systems such as Gusto, Xero Understanding of foreign currency is desirable At least 2 to 3 years’ experience in Payroll High proficiency using MS Office Suite Demonstrated understanding of reporting and review of data Able to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
