About the Role

The Company is in search of a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to serve as the strategic and visionary leader, driving a transformational agenda to ensure the organization's significance and relevancy in the professional and industrial landscape. The CEO will work closely with the Board of Directors and staff to develop and execute long-term strategies that foster innovation, growth, and global impact in the chemical engineering profession. This role demands a forward-thinking, collaborative leader with the experience to navigate complex challenges, foster partnerships, and drive meaningful progress in science, education, sustainability, and workforce development. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall performance and health of the organization, including financial management, staff leadership, and program creation and delivery.

Candidates for the CEO position at the company should be visionary and collaborative leaders with a proven track record of leading complex organizations and driving mission-focused growth. Executive leadership experience within associations or as a volunteer is preferred. The ideal CEO will have a strong background in strategic marketing and communications, be an effective spokesperson, and possess outstanding interpersonal, influence, and persuasion skills. A global mindset and experience, as well as a degree in a relevant field, are advantageous.
