CAIC is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior SAN/VM Systems Administrator to support the U.S. Southern Command (USSOUTHCOM) in Doral, Florida. This position is contingent upon award. The ideal candidate will oversee and optimize Enterprise Operations in line with ITIL best practices, ensuring efficient implementation of changes across USSOUTHCOM Cyber Information Technology Enterprise Services (SCITES). Key Responsibilities
Design storage concepts and processes related to resource management for Enterprise Data Center (EDC) operations. Upgrade software, apply patches, and ensure physical security of enterprise data. Design and implement solutions for data storage and maintenance. Configure, allocate, provision, and manage storage resources. Develop disaster recovery plans and backup/archive procedures. Create reports and metrics on performance and data usage using office automation tools. Support and lead major technology assignments, evaluate performance, and recommend improvements. Function as a technical expert across multiple projects, possibly supervising others. Minimum Qualifications
Active Secret clearance. Bachelors degree plus 7 years of relevant experience. Preferred Qualifications
Experience in large, distributed IT enterprises. Knowledge of DevOps practices and principles. What You Can Expect
