With a robust and growing team of more than 30 full-time Hospitalists, this health system offers the clinical infrastructure, 24/7 sub-specialist support, and schedule flexibility you need to thrive.

Position Highlights
  • Hospital-employed Nocturnist opportunity
  • Minimum requirement: 12 shifts per month (7p - 7a) with flexible, individualized scheduling
  • Average census of 9 - 10 patients per night per provider
  • EPIC EMR Full subspecialty support including 24/7 Pulm/CC and Radiology coverage
  • Admit and co-manage patients with intensivist support - no procedures required
  • Provide care for ED unassigned patients, transfers, and inpatient consults
  • Diverse patient population served across all age and socioeconomic groups

Practice Environment
  • 420-bed tertiary referral center and Alabama College of Osteopathic Medicine (ACOM) campus
  • Regional catchment area of 450,000+ across AL, GA, and FL
  • Advanced imaging: PET, 3T MRI, 64-slice CT, interventional radiology
  • Full spectrum of specialist support including neurosurgery, EP cardiology, and pain management
  • EMR: Cerner (hospital) and Athena (clinic)
  • Accredited Internal Medicine and Transitional Year residency programs
  • Dedicated oncology rehab, diagnostics, and supportive care services
