Position Details
This remote opportunity within our Enterprise Security Services organization involves developing and managing security strategies, supporting security operations, and driving automation in GCP environments.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage Google Cloud Platform (GCP) security strategies, ensuring alignment with company goals and addressing threats.
- Support security operations and incident response, including threat hunting, forensic analysis, and remediation.
- Oversee GCP and Workbench security tooling integration, automation, and processes for comprehensive security monitoring.
- Stay current with cybersecurity practices, mentor team members, and provide thought leadership.
- Drive automation to improve security monitoring and response, documenting processes in playbooks and guides.
- Build relationships with internal teams and security vendors to ensure strategy alignment and collaboration.
Qualifications
- At least eight years of recent experience in security architecture, with expertise in GCP and security tooling.
- Bachelor's degree preferred; CISSP and Google Cloud Security Engineer certifications are preferred.
- Experience leading security projects and understanding regulatory requirements like NIST, ISO 27001, and HIPAA.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership skills, with the ability to influence in a matrixed environment.
- Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
