Position Details

This remote opportunity within our Enterprise Security Services organization involves developing and managing security strategies, supporting security operations, and driving automation in GCP environments.

Responsibilities

  1. Develop and manage Google Cloud Platform (GCP) security strategies, ensuring alignment with company goals and addressing threats.
  2. Support security operations and incident response, including threat hunting, forensic analysis, and remediation.
  3. Oversee GCP and Workbench security tooling integration, automation, and processes for comprehensive security monitoring.
  4. Stay current with cybersecurity practices, mentor team members, and provide thought leadership.
  5. Drive automation to improve security monitoring and response, documenting processes in playbooks and guides.
  6. Build relationships with internal teams and security vendors to ensure strategy alignment and collaboration.

Qualifications

  1. At least eight years of recent experience in security architecture, with expertise in GCP and security tooling.
  2. Bachelor's degree preferred; CISSP and Google Cloud Security Engineer certifications are preferred.
  3. Experience leading security projects and understanding regulatory requirements like NIST, ISO 27001, and HIPAA.
  4. Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership skills, with the ability to influence in a matrixed environment.
  5. Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
