Role Responsibilities
- Lead multiple complex sales and use tax engagements.
- Develop and implement innovative sales and use tax planning strategies for clients.
- Stay updated on tax law changes across various states and communicate key issues effectively.
- Mentor and develop team members, including Associates and Senior Associates, in technical and client-facing skills.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
- CPA, CMI, or JD certification.
- 7+ years of state and local tax experience in a public accounting firm, focusing on indirect (sales & use) tax compliance and consulting.
- Proven leadership skills in managing and mentoring staff.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Accounting or related field.
- Strong relationship management and practice development skills.
- Ability to attract new clients and expand services with existing clients.
Compensation and Benefits
The estimated salary range is $141,000 to $290,000, depending on experience, skills, certifications, and location.
