Role Responsibilities
Lead multiple complex sales and use tax engagements.
Develop and implement innovative sales and use tax planning strategies for clients.
Stay updated on tax law changes across various states and communicate key issues effectively.
Mentor and develop team members, including Associates and Senior Associates, in technical and client-facing skills.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
CPA, CMI, or JD certification.
7+ years of state and local tax experience in a public accounting firm, focusing on indirect (sales & use) tax compliance and consulting.
Proven leadership skills in managing and mentoring staff.
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in Accounting or related field.
Strong relationship management and practice development skills.
Ability to attract new clients and expand services with existing clients.
Compensation and Benefits The estimated salary range is $141,000 to $290,000, depending on experience, skills, certifications, and location. We offer comprehensive health benefits, a 401(k) plan, flexible time off, and in-house learning opportunities.
