Travel RN - Emergency Dept

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Float Pool Emergency Room position requiring multi-location flexibility and advanced certifications.Job Details•Work in emergency departments across hospital locations within a 60-mile radius,•Float assignments may include duties outside original job requirements as needed,•Patient population includes a wide variety of acute and emergent cases,•12-hour night shifts, three days per week,•Uses Epic EMR for documentation,Job Requirements•Active RN license from the state or compact (NLC); no pending licenses accepted,•Minimum of one year of nursing experience preferred,•Associate Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's degree preferred,•Current AHA certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS or ENPC, NIHSS, and TNCC,•Experience with float assignments in emergency departments preferred,•Epic charting experience required,•Must be able to work at multiple locations within a 60-mile radius,•Flu shot required during flu season; only medical exemptions with physician documentation accepted,Additional Information•Duties include comprehensive patient assessment, care planning, performing therapeutic and diagnostic interventions, and administering medications,•Expected to provide patient and family education and support,•Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and delegate to non-RN personnel as appropriate,•Supports professional practice standards and continuous quality improvement initiatives,•Travelers may remain on assignment up to one calendar year, with a required 30-60 day break between assignments,•No locals allowed for travel positions within the 60-mile radius,•Centura Health Float Agreement must be acknowledged and signed prior to assignment,•Flu vaccination is mandatory from Nov 1 - March 31 unless medically exempt
