American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor and Delivery position requiring Epic charting experience and current ACLS, BLS, and NRP certifications.
Job Details
•Work in a Labor and Delivery unit within an acute care hospital setting,
•Night shifts, 3x12 hours (18:30-06:00), with every other weekend required,
•Patient population includes laboring mothers and newborns,
•Expected to float between like units and occasionally to affiliated hospitals,
•Epic EMR experience is required,
Job Requirements
•Active RN license in California required at time of consideration,
•Minimum of 1 year recent experience in Labor and Delivery,
•Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, and NRP (all active),
•Must provide at least two supervisory references from the past three years in a comparable specialty,
•Pending/temporary licenses are not accepted,
•Must meet a 50-mile radius rule for local candidates,
Additional Information
•First-time travelers will be considered for this role,
•Travelers must be willing to float within the hospital and to nearby affiliated facilities as assigned,
•Willingness to work two out of three major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year) required,
•Former permanent staff must have a 3-month gap before returning as a traveler,
•Scrub attire is any solid color, typically Royal Blue or Navy,
•Free parking provided initially; long-term parking assigned during orientation,
•Pre-assignment modules required, completed prior to start date,
