American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor and Delivery night shift position, requiring a compact or Maryland RN license and NRP certification.Job Details•Work in an inpatient Labor and Delivery unit,•Night shifts, 3x12 hours weekly from 7:00pm to 7:30am,•Every other weekend shifts are required,•Travelers may be required to float within the hospital according to experience and unit needs,•Block scheduling or specific schedule requests cannot be accommodated,Job Requirements•Active RN license in Maryland or a Compact state at time of consideration,•Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification (NRP or AAP only),•American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications required,•CPI (Calm Every Storm online version only) certification may be required,•At least two satisfactory professional references: 1 supervisor/manager and 1 charge RN,•Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility,•Previous staff must have been gone at least 12 months to be eligible as a traveler,•Return travelers must have a break of at least 6 months from the system,Additional Information•Duties include providing comprehensive nursing care to laboring and postpartum patients and their newborns,•Team-oriented environment with interdisciplinary collaboration,•Must be comfortable floating within the hospital to units within clinical scope,•Onboarding modules required as part of orientation,•Travelers must complete labs within 72 hours of contract signing,•Holiday coverage expectations will be communicated per unit policy,•Time-off requests (RTO) cannot be changed or added after initial submission and must not exceed 7 days; over 4 consecutive days off will extend contract by a week,•Badge system (Kronos) is used for clocking in and out,),•hash,:•11725915659671437845,
