This role is critical in ensuring production efficiency, minimizing material waste, and supporting overall manufacturing quality. Candidates should have strong technical expertise in CNC programming, a keen eye for detail, and a proactive problem-solving approach.Key Responsibilities:Interpret job orders, engineering drawings, technical specifications, and CAD models to generate CNC programsCreate geometric layouts and machining paths using CAM softwareSelect appropriate cutting tools, speeds, feed rates, and machining operations for optimal performanceSequence operations for efficient manufacturing and create reference points for machine setupCollaborate with machinists and operators to troubleshoot and resolve programming issuesRecommend process improvements to enhance machining quality and reduce cycle times or scrapEnsure compliance with internal procedures and quality standardsAdhere to all safety protocols and report potential hazards promptlyMaintain consistent on-site attendance and availability during scheduled work hoursQualifications:High School Diploma or GED requiredTechnical training in CNC programming, drafting, or mechanical engineering is preferredMinimum 2 years of CNC programming experience with broad knowledge of machining and CNC operationsProficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and process control documentationExperience with Catia, SolidWorks, and NX requiredFamiliarity with Vericut software is requiredExperience with Predator is a plusAerospace industry experience is highly desirable
