Details Client NameHCA Houston Healthcare Southeast Job TypeTravel OfferingNursing ProfessionRN SpecialtyICU Job ID33375932 Job TitleRN - ICU Weekly Pay$1569.5 Shift Details Shift12 Hour Night Scheduled Hours36 Job Order Details Start Date09/08/2025 End Date12/13/2025 Duration13 Week(s) Required Certifications for SubmittalDysrhythmia: Basics A, ICU Skills Checklist Job Description### Job Description: ICU Registered Nurse Shift: 7 PM - 7 AM Location: Pasadena, TX Unit Information: - Number of Beds: 26 - Number of Staff: 45 - Staffing: - Day Shift: 1 Charge Nurse, 1 Rapid Response RN, 5 RNs for 10 ICU patients (staff increases based on grid) - Night Shift: 1 Charge Nurse, 1 Rapid Response RN, 5 RNs, and 1 PCT for 10 ICU patients (staff increases based on grid) Patient Ratios: 1:2, 1:1 Type of Equipment: Mechanical ventilators, balloon pumps, CRRT, Impella, EKOS Electronic Medical Records (EMR): Meditech #### Responsibilities:- Provide direct bedside care and support to critically ill patients.- Perform procedures such as bedside tracheostomy and percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy (PEG) placement.- Conduct central line insertions and manage complex medical equipment.- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure the highest level of patient care.#### Qualifications: Required Skills: - Minimum of 1 year of ICU experience.- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIH Stroke Scale. Preferred Skills: - Experience with CRRT, Impella, and balloon pumps considered a plus.#### Ideal Candidate:- Strong team player who works efficiently with others.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.- Ability to handle high-pressure environments with professionalism and compassion.
