Their products are widely used in fields such as environmental monitoring, medical and nuclear electronics, space research, and materials analysis.
Job Description
The Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Conduct product and equipment functionality tests
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues
- Repair or replace faulty components
- Perform routine maintenance on mechanical systems
- Assist in building prototypes for new products
- Collaborate with engineers to enhance system performance
- Maintain detailed activity records
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines
The Successful Applicant
The Manufacturing Engineer should have:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree preferred
- 3+ years of hands on experience in a factory setting
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience quantifying yields
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, tools, and equipment
- Strong soldering skills
- Ability to read technical manuals and blueprints
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Basic machining skills a plus
