Search Solution Group is seeking a Reliability Manager on behalf of our client, a global leader in water technology based in Lebanon, TN. This role plays a critical part in overseeing and directing the reliability efforts for specific products or projects. The Reliability Manager ensures that all reliability initiatives are completed on time, within budget, and meet the highest engineering standards. This position involves cross-functional collaboration, project leadership, and application of advanced engineering principles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide oversight of all reliability-related activities across assigned projects.
- Coordinate creation and execution of reliability test plans for residential engineering projects.
- Lead or supervise FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) activities.
- Analyze warranty data and provide insights to engineering project teams.
- Collaborate with multiple departments to address field issues and support product performance.
- Develop and execute project objectives for self and team members.
- Manage projects by providing guidance, mentoring, and technical direction.
- Conduct performance reviews, offer coaching, and support career growth among team members.
- Utilize and direct use of CAE tools such as Solidworks, MATLAB, LabView, Minitab, EES, CFD, and FEA to interpret technical results.
- Develop and apply engineering standards and procedures.
- Communicate technical information effectively to internal business units.
- Demonstrate solid understanding of AOS processes and customer needs.
- Identify and evaluate technical requirements for high-value projects.
- Establish objectives for project timing, resources, and budget.
- Ensure project goals are met by managing timelines and budgets.
- Lead regular status meetings and communicate project updates.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support overall engineering goals.
Education:
- BS, MS, or PhD + 7 in Engineering or a related scientific field.
- Minimum of 10+ years of related work experience in engineering or reliability management.
- At least 4 years of supervisory or leadership experience.
- Proficiency with CAE tools (Solidworks, MATLAB, LabView, Minitab, etc.).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and cross-functional collaboration.
- Certifications in reliability engineering, project management, or related fields are a plus but not required.
- Deep understanding of engineering standards, reliability principles, and product lifecycle management.
- Familiarity with AOS processes and customer-focused solutions.
- Strong leadership and team development capabilities.
- High-level analytical skills for cost review and budget preparation.
- Proven ability to manage complex technical projects with multiple stakeholders.
- Reputation for expertise and a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
- Ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on execution.
