Job Summary: Our client is seeking a Land Development Engineer to oversee and execute site planning, design, and infrastructure development for residential, commercial, and industrial projects. This role involves civil engineering expertise , regulatory compliance, and collaboration with stakeholders to ensure efficient and sustainable land development.

- Design and oversee site development plans , including grading, drainage, utilities, and roadway infrastructure .
- Conduct feasibility studies and analyze environmental impact for land development projects.
- Prepare and review engineering drawings, reports, and specifications in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Coordinate with municipal agencies, contractors, and developers to ensure project approvals and compliance.
- Perform stormwater management analysis and design erosion control measures .
- Utilize utoCAD Civil 3D and other engineering software for site design and modeling.
- ssist in permitting processes , including zoning, land use, and environmental regulations.
- Provide technical guidance and support during construction phases , ensuring adherence to engineering standards.
- Collaborate with surveyors, architects, and planners to optimize land use and infrastructure efficiency.
- Conduct cost estimation and budgeting for land development projects.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- 3-7 years of experience in land development engineering .
- Proficiency in utoCAD Civil 3D and other engineering design tools.
- Strong knowledge of stormwater management, grading, and utility design .
- Experience with zoning regulations, permitting, and environmental compliance .
- Excellent problem-solving and project management skills .
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities with stakeholders.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification .
- Experience in residential, commercial, or industrial land development projects .
- Familiarity with GIS mapping and hydrology modeling software .
- Knowledge of local and federal land use regulations .
